Are your diapers recyclable or compostable?
Our diapers are not only eco-friendly but also incredibly sustainable. We’re proud to share that not a single tree is cut down in the making of our diapers, and by using a 100% bamboo core, we save over 200,000 trees and eco systems each year. . Our diapers contain 60%-65% of sustainable ingredients in TOTAL diaper weight which is pretty sustainable already. There is no diaper in the world that can claim they 100% biodegradable, we are constantly working to improve our diaper specifications in this area.
We’re also actively working on innovative technology to break down the components of our diapers for composting. Our products are not labelled compostable as yet , Once the technology becomes available in South Africa we will be the first to take our diaper up a notch and jump right into it , we understand the importance of NOT encouraging parents to plant compostable diapers in their back gardens, which can lead to various issues. In the near future, we plan to introduce a ‘Rediaper ’program as part of our conscious parents initiative.
